This is video based training to supplement the Telehandler Forklift and Driven Full Course.

In this video we will review what a pre-op inspection entails.

Visual Inspection – Walk around

Operational – Checking required components

Using a standard Checklist Form you will check all that is required for both the Visual and the Operational

Your inspections are completed by the operators daily prior to each shift.

Any deficiencies or maintenance issues will be reported to your Supervisor immediately and the machine may have to be out of service until fixed. In certain circumstances minor issues the Supervisor can determine that it is safe to use in the interim but that does not mean that is long term.
